This presentation will introduce query performance changes that
are available in the ASE 15.0.2 release. The presentation format
will be that of several problem scenario descriptions, including
a brief review of how to diagnose query performance problems, followed
by the respective resolutions. New 15.0.2 features covered will
include - improved performance of stored procedures w.r.t. local
variables - new solutions to workaround query performance issues
- new join access path for CIS tables, - improved aggregation -
improvements and changes in query metrics - usage of new system
table sysoptions - improved index selection with key expressions
- improved join order selection with non-key expressions - replicated
partitioning.
