IQ Tips Tricks and Common Issues

IQ Tips Tricks and Common Issues

This masterclass will cover common problems, issues and bugs that impact Developers and DBA's when using IQ. The root of most performanceproblems in IQ is the usage or absence of parallel processing and the interaction between the IQ and ASA stores. This session will explain how to optimise code and options (both documented and hidden) to take advantage of IQ's parallel processing. A large focus will also be directed at the interaction between IQ and Catalog/ASA stores, how to understand which store your code is being executed in and how to avoid common traps that can occur in the interaction between the stores. The content shall also introduce two tips on how to pass a table/indeterminate parameters into a procedure using XML and how triggers can be used in IQ.
